The past is in the past but the future is for the taking!

In April 2022, CFVA was thrilled to present the world premiere of Melina: A Steampunk Musical Tragedy, by local playwright Gretchen Suarez-Pena, and re-orchestrated and co-composed by celebrated local talents Julian Bond and Nishaa Johnson.

An official selection of the 2020 Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival, Melina is a musical telenovela on stage with a tragic love triangle set in a steampunk world - a world in the firm grimp of a mysterious detector that holds time in its grasp. CFVA’s production featured props 3D printed by Orlando 3D printer manufacturer Deltamaker.
